The product
The most permeable system in the range, published at greater than 20 L/sec/m². Where the drainage strategy leans on the surface course, this is the product that carries the number. The resin darkens under UV.
Where it is used
- SuDS-led paving where infiltration governs
- Pedestrian areas and landscape paths
- Areas draining to ground through a permeable build-up
Substrates
- Permeable sub-base designed to the drainage strategy
- Concrete or asphalt where the build-up is designed to discharge
Application data
Coverage, thickness, mix and cure, as declared by the manufacturer. Site conditions in the Gulf sit at the top of most of these ranges — allow for it in the programme.

| Full chemical cure | 7 days |
| Packaging | 5 kg and 6 kg units |
| Storage | Above 7 °C, out of direct sunlight, wind and rain |
Performance data
Every figure below is reproduced from the manufacturer's own technical data sheet, with the test standard it was measured against. The sheet itself is in the download section.
| Property | Result | Standard |
|---|---|---|
| Permeability / porosity | > 20 L/sec/m² | BS EN 12697-40:2005 |
| Skid resistance — pedestrian | Slider 96 > 55 | TRL 176 |
| Skid resistance — vehicular | Slider 57 > 60 | TRL 176 |
| UV behaviour | Resin darkens on UV exposure | Addagrip data sheet |
Where not to use it
The limits are as much a part of the specification as the performance. Everything here is stated on the manufacturer's data sheet.
- Resin darkens on UV exposure
- Permeability is a property of the whole build-up — a permeable surface over an impermeable base achieves nothing
- Do not apply in wet conditions
Permeable resin bound surfacing: Addagrip Terrabase resin bound aggregate surface course over a permeable base build-up designed to the drainage strategy. Surface course permeability greater than 20 L/sec/m² to BS EN 12697-40:2005. Skid resistance to TRL 176. Contractor to advise that the resin darkens under UV exposure. 7 days full chemical cure.
Square brackets mark the choices that belong to the project. Send us the finishes schedule and we will return the clause completed, with the sample and mock-up programme against it.

Technical support for the design team
We supply the material and we apply it, so the specification and the workmanship sit with one party. Send a finishes schedule, an elevation or a mood board and we will come back with the system, the build-up, the sample programme and a completed clause.
