The product

A tree pit and light footpath resin. Laid at around 50 mm rather than the 18 to 22 mm of a surface course, so root zones stay porous and the surround stays walkable.

Coverage, thickness, mix and cure, as declared by the manufacturer. Site conditions in the Gulf sit at the top of most of these ranges — allow for it in the programme.

  • Light use only — not a trafficked surface course
  • Short shelf life: 3 months unopened
  • Surface must be at least 3 °C above the dew point
Specification clause

Tree pit surfacing: Addagrip Addaset TP polyurethane resin bound 6–10 mm aggregate, laid approximately 50 mm thick at a minimum spread rate of 100 kg aggregate to 4–5 kg resin per m². Surface temperature to be at least 3 °C above dew point at the time of laying. 7 days full chemical cure.
