The product
Addaset resin binding coloured rather than natural aggregate, for designs that need a controlled palette or inlaid graphics in the paved surface.
Where it is used
- Paving where a controlled colour palette is required
- Inlaid designs, wayfinding and graphics in the surface
- Pedestrian areas and lightly trafficked areas
Substrates
- Concrete — clean, dry, free of laitance, oil, grease and loose particles
- Asphalt — clean and dry
- Joints reflected through the surface

Coverage, thickness, mix and cure, as declared by the manufacturer. Site conditions in the Gulf sit at the top of most of these ranges — allow for it in the programme.

Performance data
Every figure below is reproduced from the manufacturer's own technical data sheet, with the test standard it was measured against. The sheet itself is in the download section.
| Property | Result | Standard |
|---|---|---|
| Permeability — 3 mm aggregate | 4.46 – 7.67 L/sec/m² at 12 mm depth | BS EN 12697-40:2005 |
| Skid resistance — pedestrian | Slider 96 > 55 | TRL 176 |
| Skid resistance — vehicular | Slider 57 > 60 | TRL 176 |
| Full chemical cure | 7 days | Addagrip data sheet |
Where not to use it
The limits are as much a part of the specification as the performance. Everything here is stated on the manufacturer's data sheet.
- Do not apply in wet conditions
- Coloured aggregate needs a panel approval before the order is placed
- 3 months shelf life unopened
