The product

The UV-stable version of Addaflex R, binding either recycled rubber tyre chippings or EPDM chippings — so colour holds and the EPDM palette becomes available.

Where it is used

  • Play and recreation surfaces where colour must hold
  • Pedestrian areas needing a softer surface
  • Coloured EPDM surfacing

  • Asphalt or concrete at 25 mm laid depth
  • Compacted stone at 30 mm laid depth

Application data

Coverage, thickness, mix and cure, as declared by the manufacturer. Site conditions in the Gulf sit at the top of most of these ranges — allow for it in the programme.

  • Not a substitute for a tested impact-attenuating safety surface unless separately specified as such

Rubber stone resin bound surfacing: Addagrip Addaflex R UV, UV-stable resin binding 2–5 mm aggregate with [recycled rubber / EPDM] chippings, laid 25 mm thick on asphalt or concrete, or 30 mm on compacted stone, to the approved sample panel. 7 days full chemical cure.
