The product
Addaset with recycled aggregate and recycled glass in the blend. Same resin, same BBA route, same permeability figures — the difference is the recycled content, which is the reason it appears in sustainability-led specifications.
Where it is used
- Domestic driveways and patios
- Pedestrian areas
- Lightly trafficked car parks
- Low speed access roads
- Projects with recycled content targets
Substrates
- Concrete — clean, dry, free of laitance, oil, grease and loose particles
- Asphalt — clean and dry, to a suitable base build-up
- Joints reflected through the surface
- Edging in brick, stone, concrete or steel
Application data
Coverage, thickness, mix and cure, as declared by the manufacturer. Site conditions in the Gulf sit at the top of most of these ranges — allow for it in the programme.

Performance data
Every figure below is reproduced from the manufacturer's own technical data sheet, with the test standard it was measured against. The sheet itself is in the download section.
| Property | Result | Standard |
|---|---|---|
| Third-party assessment | BBA Agrément Certificate as a resin bound aggregate surfacing system | British Board of Agrément |
| Permeability — 3 mm aggregate | 4.46 – 7.67 L/sec/m² at 12 mm depth | BS EN 12697-40:2005 |
| Permeability — 6 mm aggregate | 7.39 – 20 L/sec/m² at 18 mm depth | BS EN 12697-40:2005 |
| Permeability — 10 mm aggregate | 17 – 30 L/sec/m² at 22 mm depth | BS EN 12697-40:2005 |
| Skid resistance — pedestrian | Slider 96 > 55 | TRL 176 |
| Skid resistance — vehicular | Slider 57 > 60 | TRL 176 |
Where not to use it
The limits are as much a part of the specification as the performance. Everything here is stated on the manufacturer's data sheet.
- Do not apply in wet conditions
- Surface must be above 5 °C and at least 3 °C above the dew point
- Recycled glass content affects the visual — approve a panel
Resin bound surfacing: Addagrip Addaset ECO UV-stable polyurethane resin bound surface course incorporating recycled aggregate and recycled glass, [10] mm aggregate laid [22] mm thick to the approved sample panel. Permeability to BS EN 12697-40:2005. Skid resistance to TRL 176. 7 days full chemical cure before trafficking.
Square brackets mark the choices that belong to the project. Send us the finishes schedule and we will return the clause completed, with the sample and mock-up programme against it.

Technical support for the design team
We supply the material and we apply it, so the specification and the workmanship sit with one party. Send a finishes schedule, an elevation or a mood board and we will come back with the system, the build-up, the sample programme and a completed clause.
