The Materials

We work in ten material families, from rammed earth to acoustic plaster. Seventy-five finishes sit in the catalogue, and every one of them is a material we both supply and install.

That combination is rarer than it sounds. It means the sample you approve and the wall you receive come out of the same company, and it means we will tell you plainly when a material is wrong for your application — because we are the ones who have to make it work.

Date palms rising against in-situ rammed earth garden walls, the lift lines running through the strata. Rammed Earth Monolithic earth walls, built in lifts on site. The region’s only complete-project capability. Smooth brown clay plaster above a terracotta leather banquette at Massara restaurant, New York. Clay Plaster Unfired clay from Cornwall. Breathes, buffers humidity, holds its colour through the body of the material. Sculpted display niches in Microtadelakt lime plaster at Afraa Boutique, Place Vendome, Lusail. Lime Plaster & Tadelakt Lime and marble dust. Hardens by absorbing carbon dioxide from the air; resists mould by its own chemistry. Seamless microcement atrium floor seen from above at King Fahad Cultural Centre, Riyadh. Microcement Seamless floors and walls in millimetres, over what is already there. No joints. Seamless acoustic plaster ceiling panel framed by timber slats in a meeting room at Banca d’Italia, Rome. Acoustic Plaster A ceiling that absorbs sound across its whole surface. No grid, no tile, no joint. Hand-applied Microtadelakt texture up close at the Calligraphy Museum, Madinah. Polished Plaster Marmorino, burnished stone, high sheen. Depth you cannot get from paint. Resin bound aggregate up close at Lusail Boulevard, every stone coated and locked in place. Stone Carpet Graded stone bound in resin, laid seamless and permeable over a prepared base. Eco-Friendly Decorative Concrete Exposed aggregate concrete on green cement and GGBS — the stone revealed, the carbon lowered. Pale grey projected cork wall texture in raking light. Projected Cork Cork sprayed at 2 to 4 mm — insulation, elasticity and finish in one seamless pass. Clay wash eco paint on a bedroom feature wall in a soft olive tone. Eco Paints & Clay Washes Clay-based paint with a brushed, cloudy matte. Breathes where conventional paint seals.
