The product
The base coat of the Microrock system: two layers at 2 to 3 mm total. Because the Microrock line is highly waterproof, no pore filler is needed before sealing.
Where it is used
- Base coats under Microrock finish coats
- Interior floors and walls
Substrates
- Substrate with minimum 25 N/mm² compressive strength and minimum 1.5 N/mm² pull-off
- Dry and clean of greases and contaminants
- No primer to be used — consult the technical department for poor, crumbled or damp substrates
Application data
Coverage, thickness, mix and cure, as declared by the manufacturer. Site conditions in the Gulf sit at the top of most of these ranges — allow for it in the programme.

Performance data
Every figure below is reproduced from the manufacturer's own technical data sheet, with the test standard it was measured against. The sheet itself is in the download section.
| Property | Result | Standard |
|---|---|---|
| Declared to | UNE-EN 13813 | UNE-EN 13813 |
| Compressive strength at 28 days | > 80 N/mm² | Cemher data sheet |
| Adherence to concrete at 28 days | Approx. 1.5 N/mm² | Cemher data sheet |
| Application thickness | 1 – 2 mm per layer | Cemher data sheet |
| Substrate requirement | Minimum 25 N/mm² compressive, 1.5 N/mm² pull-off | Cemher data sheet |
Where not to use it
The limits are as much a part of the specification as the performance. Everything here is stated on the manufacturer's data sheet.
- Do not use any primer under this product
- Substrates in poor condition or with moisture problems must be referred to the manufacturer's technical department
- Requires a water-based or solvent-based sealer over
Microcement base: Cemher Microrock Base two-component microcement applied in two layers to a total thickness of 2–3 mm on the prepared substrate. No primer to be used. Substrate to have minimum 25 N/mm² compressive strength and 1.5 N/mm² pull-off. Allow 6–8 hours drying before the finish coats.
Square brackets mark the choices that belong to the project. Send us the finishes schedule and we will return the clause completed, with the sample and mock-up programme against it.

Technical support for the design team
We supply the material and we apply it, so the specification and the workmanship sit with one party. Send a finishes schedule, an elevation or a mood board and we will come back with the system, the build-up, the sample programme and a completed clause.
