The product
The immersion-rated microcement in the range. Where Microdur Plus is expressly excluded from pools, Micropool is the product that carries the water-penetration and 28-day no-pressure results a pool detail needs.
Where it is used
- Swimming pools and immersed surfaces
- Pool surrounds and wet decks
- Interior floors and walls where a matching finish is required
Substrates
- Concrete and cementitious substrates, consolidated and true
- Dry, clean and free of dust, grease or dirt
Application data
Coverage, thickness, mix and cure, as declared by the manufacturer. Site conditions in the Gulf sit at the top of most of these ranges — allow for it in the programme.

Where not to use it
The limits are as much a part of the specification as the performance. Everything here is stated on the manufacturer's data sheet.
- Not over electric underfloor heating
- Sensitive to vinegar and other organic acids
- Contains silica — respiratory protection required when sanding
- Reaction to fire is Class B, lower than the A1 of Microdur Plus and Microtadelakt
- Performance figures marked 1* are measured without sealer
Microcement to immersed surfaces: Cemher Micropool two-component polymeric microcement in colour [ref], applied to pool tank and surround as detailed. Water penetration under pressure 5 bar for 3 days with no penetration to UNE EN 14891:2017; 28 days immersion without pressure. Compressive strength Class C80 to UNI EN 13892-2:2005. Sealed to the sealer specification. Reaction to fire Class B to UNE EN 13501-1:2019.
Square brackets mark the choices that belong to the project. Send us the finishes schedule and we will return the clause completed, with the sample and mock-up programme against it.
