The product
A three-component microcement, waterproof in mass, for continuous floors, walls and ceilings inside and out. Its hardness and chemical resistance are what make it a specification for high-traffic and humid areas — it is a durable, low-VOC cementitious coating, not a natural finish.
Where it is used
- Highly decorative continuous floor coverings, walls and ceilings, interior and exterior
- Coating of underfloor heating, fireplaces, furniture, shelves, kitchen worktops and counters
- Coating of old ceramic tile and other tile coverings
- Interior and exterior rooms, kitchens, bathrooms and terraces
- Indoor and outdoor pavements on cementitious substrates
- Shops, offices, lobbies and exhibition areas
Substrates
- Concrete and cementitious substrates, consolidated and in good condition
- Old ceramic tile
- Clean and free of grease
- Compactec mortar consolidator, vapour barriers or Vapoepox rising damp barriers where the substrate requires them
- No bonding bridge — apply directly
Application data
Coverage, thickness, mix and cure, as declared by the manufacturer. Site conditions in the Gulf sit at the top of most of these ranges — allow for it in the programme.

Where not to use it
The limits are as much a part of the specification as the performance. Everything here is stated on the manufacturer's data sheet.
- Not suitable for swimming pools or continuously immersed surfaces
- Sensitive to vinegar and other organic acids
- Do not apply below 10 °C or above 30 °C
- Contains cement; avoid contact with eyes and skin and avoid inhaling dust
- Performance figures marked 1* are measured without sealer
Microcement: Cemher Microdur Plus three-component microcement in colour [ref], applied 0.3–5.5 mm in two base coats with alkali-resistant fibreglass mesh embedded in the first, and two finish coats, over a substrate of not less than 25 N/mm² compressive strength. Reaction to fire Class A1 to UNE EN 13501-1:2019, compressive strength Class C50 to UNI EN 13892-2:2005. Sealed with Hidroprimer and [Aquamax / Maxipur] 24–48 hours after hardening at below 5% moisture. Not for use in swimming pools or continuously immersed surfaces.
Square brackets mark the choices that belong to the project. Send us the finishes schedule and we will return the clause completed, with the sample and mock-up programme against it.
